Elk jaar gaan een flink aantal derde jaars studenten van mboRijnland op stage naar Amerika. Hier gaan zij op een summercamp naar keuze aan de slag. Elk summercamp heeft zijn eigen specialiteit en via de organisatie ccUsa worden de studenten met het summercamp in contact gebracht. Dit brengt de studenten een onvergetelijke ervaring en de mogelijkheid om Amerika te zien. Elk jaar gaat er een docent van mboRijnland op stagebezoek. Dit jaar hebben we hier een korte compilatie van gemaakt. Geniet van deze video en wellicht kan jij zelf ook naar Amerika gaan tijdens je studie bij mboRijnland Sport en Bewegen.

The Volunteer Experience Africa Program is an excellent opportunity to help those who are truly in need. Positions are unpaid in monetary terms, but you will gain valuable skills, great friends from across the world, useful experience for your resume, and the knowledge that you made a lasting global difference. The volunteer programs run between 1 week and 6 months, with the option to extend weekly as well as do two different programs back to back. Room and board is provided while on the program. 🤍

The video is nice & easy. Basically the camp can see all your skills listed on paper, what they can’t see is your personality. So you just need to be cheerful & speak to the camera about why you’re excited to work in America, it only needs be 60 seconds. I'M GOING TO SUMMER CAMP!! So I recently attended the CCUSA camp fair in Dublin (2018) and was lucky enough to get placed at Camp Cayuga in Pennsylvania. I am super excited to go to camp!! Roll on summer 2018.

I recently spent 2 months working as a counsellor at an American summer camp in Connecticut. This adventure far surpassed all of my expectations set by binge watching the Parent Trap and It Takes Two since birth. If you are considering applying for a job at a camp, I cannot recommend it enough.
